Measured blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) was found to be associated with weight, status and age. Blood pressure increased with increases in weight and age, while the influence of status on blood pressure was such that mean blood pressure was highest for the academic staff, followed in decreasing order by that measured for non-academic staff, Technicians/Laborers, University Students and Secondary School Students. ...
